Pakistan and Zimbabwe to play second T20 today

HARARE: Pakistan and Zimbabwe are all set to face each other in the second T20 International match at Harare Sports Club in Harare on Tuesday as Pakistan will be looking to keep the 100% win record against Zimbabwe and win the series 2-0.

Pakistan will be looking to whitewash Zimbabwe for the fourth time in a 2-match T20 series as they had done the same in September 2011, August 2012 in Zimbabwe and May 2015 in Pakistan. They have beaten Zimbabwe in all 8 T20 games they have played.

Zimbabwe have played Pakistan most times and along with Sri Lanka, South Africa, England and New Zealand, they are the only ones not to lose a game against Zimbabwe. The hosts will be hoping to break the deadlock and end the losing streak.

On the other hand, Pakistan will be hoping for a better and more convincing batting performance, as they scored only 136 runs after batting first in the first T20 and won by only 13 runs, that too because of the brilliant work done by the bowlers.

It was the heroics of young all-rounder Imad Wasim that helped Pakistan win the game against Zimbabwe in the first T20 after he took 4 wickets in 4 overs after conceding just 11 runs at the economy rate of 2.75 and was adjudged man of the match.
