Pakistan crushes Zimbabwe by 131 runs in first ODI

HARARE: Pakistan on Thursday has beaten Zimbabwe by 131 runs in first ODI match at Harare Sports Club.

Bating first, Pakistan scored 259 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs.

In reply, Zimbabwe scored 128 runs.

SC Williams scored 26 runs in 31 balls. Chigumbura scored 22 runs in 30 balls. While, Sikandar Raza scored 19 runs in 40 balls.

Yasir Shah bagged 6 wickets. Shoaib Malik took 3 wickets. While, Imad Wasim managed to get 1 wicket.

Earlier, Zimbabwe captain E Chigumbura won the toss and decided to field first.

From Pakistan side, Mohammad Rizwan smashed 75 runs in 70 balls. Imad Wasim scored 61 runs in 61 balls. While, Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 44 runs in 59 balls.

Panyangara, Jongwe, Cremer and Nyumbu took one wicket each.
