HARARE: Pakistan has beaten Zimbabwe by 15 runs in the second T-20 match on Tuesday and clinched the two match series 2-0.
Bating first, Pakistan scored 136 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, Zimbabwe scored 121 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
SC Williams smashed unbeatable 40 runs in 36 balls. Sikandar Raza scored 36 runs in 36 balls.
Mohammad Irfan and Imran Khan grabbed two wickets each. While, Sohail Tanvir and Imad Wasim took one wicket each.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first, Umar Akmal (38) and Sohaib Maqsood (26) provided substantial support to accelerate their innings.
Meanwhile, openers Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad were dismissed cheaply for 17 and seven respectively.
From Zimbabwe side, Tinashe Panyangara and Luke Jongwe claimed two wickets each.
Umar Akmal was declared man of the match. While, Imad Wasim was declared man of the series.
