KARACHI: National Junior Champion Abdul Raheem stormed into the quarterfinal of the inaugural IBSF World Under-18 Snooker Championship when whipped Arman Atashsokhan of Iran 4-0 at St.Petersburg (Russia) on Friday.
Debubtan Raheem faced stiff in couples of games while notching-up 69-62, 70-38, 88-77, 65-39, according to information available here with Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA).
Raheem was greatly boosted after winning battling opening frame before carving out four straight frames victory.
Earlier in the last-16 round Raheem recovered after losing the opening frame to defeat Niel Vincent 13-69, 69-25, 73-66, 63-50.
However Muhammad Saqib went down to Amir Nardeia Israel 61-41, 83-24, 81-25. Abdul Raheem will meet Tyler Rees of Wales in the quarterfinal round later tonight.
