PCB announces Women’s A team for Sri Lanka tour

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced the national women’s A-team for the tour of Sri Lanka.

The tour will begin from November 12 to 24. Pakistan Women’s A- team will play three One Days and three Twenty20 matches against Sri Lanka Women’s A Team.

The squad includes, Nahida Khan (Captain) Umaima Sohail, Fariha Mahmood, Hafza Amjad, Sana Taj, Kainat Hafeez, Muneeba Ali, Sidra Nawaz (wicket keeper), Sana Gulzar, Nashra Sindhu, Sadia Yousaf, Aiman Anwer, Kainat Imtiaz and Waheeda Akhter according to a press release.

The reserve players are Maham Tariq and Norina Khalil.

The team management that will accompany the squad includes Tahir Mahmood (Coach), Ajab Gul Khan (Trainer), Naze-e-Alam Sherazi (Manager) and Ms. Kaniz Rabia (Physiotherapist).

According to the schedule the Pakistan Women’s A team will play two practice matches on November 14 and 15.

The three ODIs will be played on November 16th, 18th and 20th while the T20s will be played on November 22nd and 24th.
