PCB lifts Umar Akmal’s T20I ban

AUCKLAND: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over turned its decision to ban middle order batsman Umar Akmal for first Twnety20 (T20I) International for dress code violation in a domestic match.

According to sources, PCB took back his decision on Tuesday night and allowed Umar Akmal to be picked for inaugural T20I match against Kiwis on Friday.

Sources say, PCB was compelled by T20 skipper Shahid khan Afridi to alter its decision regarding Umar Akmal’s international match ban.
