PCB to make seaming pitches to prepare players for England tour

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to make seaming pitches to prepare national team for their over two-month long England tour.


According to official sources, the Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq demanded to prepare fresh seaming pitches, similar to that of England to give practice to players.

A training camp of national cricket team is currently underway in Kakul in which 31 players are taking part.

After conclusion of this camp a weeklong camp will also be held in Lahore from 29th of this month.

During the camp, new head coach Mickey Arthur will join.

Pakistan will leave for England to play four tests, five ODIs and a T20 match on 14th of next month.
