SYDNEY: Australian batsman Shane Watson Sunday broke the record of New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum by hammering longest T20 innings in the third T20 game against India at Sydney cricket stadium.

In the historic innings, Watson hit 6 sixes and 10 fours and achieved the mark with a strike rate of 174.

Australia set 198 runs target for India in the final match after losing first and second matches to India.
