The aggressive left-handed batsman from Hyderabad, Sharjeel Khan is now eyeing for an ODI comeback after giving an impressive performance for Pakistan in the World T20.
He is one of those few Pakistani players, who can keep his chin up after the debacle in the World T20, his innings of 47 and 30 runs against New Zealand and Australia were extremely inspiring.
Sharjeel Khan earned a recall in T20 squad after scoring the only century of the Pakistan Super League against the strong bowling attack of Peshawar Zalmi. According to Sharjeel, it was immense pressure on him on the comeback, but, as he scored runs and became extremely comfortable in the middle.
The 27 year old batsman is not completely satisfied with the performance he gave in the mega T20 event, however, he thinks it was past and it has gone. He is focusing on the Pakistan Cup and hoping to return in the 50 over cricket for Pakistan.
He coined PSL as a great responsibility for youngsters. He thinks there is a lot to learn for them during the PSL with experienced coaching staffs and foreigner stars, the kind of exposure PSL is giving, it can give Pakistan some world class players.
