MUMBAI: Hardline Hindu nationalist party Shiv Sena has threatened Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar to leave Indian.
Dar is performing his duty in ongoing India home series against South Africa.
The demand comes from Shiv Sena a few hours after it’s workers attacked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) head quarters in Mumbai ahead of Indo-Pak cricket talks.
The meeting between the PCB chief and his Indian counterpart was rescheduled after workers of the hardline Hindu nationalist party barged into the BCCI headquarters and chanted slogans against PCB Chairma Shaharyar Khan.
The meeting between Khan and his Indian counterpart Shashank Manohar would now take place in New Delhi.
The BCCI sources said that timing of the meeting would not be disclosed.
