HARARE: Pakistan will have to chase 162 runs against Zimbabwe in the third ODI to win the series after the hosts were restricted by the visitor’s spin attack.

Zimbabwe were sent in to bat first and even after a healthy opening stand between Chamu Chibhabha and Richmond Mutumbami (89 runs), they could only muster up 161 in 38.5 overs.

Off-spinner Bilal Asif was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as he went on a wicket-taking spree and accounted for five Zimbabwe batsmen. He bowled 10 overs on the trot for his team and gave away only 25 runs in the process.

Imad Wasim, the left-arm spinner, didn’t let go off the chance to gain help from the track and bagged three wickets in eight overs spilling away just 36 runs.

Mutumbami and Chibhabha were the only successful batsmen for Zimbabwe scoring 67 and 48, respectively. The only other batsman to enter double figures was tail-ender Luke Jongwe who went unbeaten for 16 runs.
