ROCK HILL: Four people, including a local county official, were found shot to death at a suburban home Sunday night, and police were not looking for a suspect, authorities said.

Officers were called to the Rock Hill home about 5:45 p.m. Sunday after a 911 call reporting a shooting, Sheriff Bruce Bryant told local media outlets.

Bryant emphasized that authorities were not looking for a suspect, but officials would not say whether that meant one of those dead was the shooter.

One of the four found dead was York County Assistant Manager Anne H. Moore, 50, York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said early Monday.

The coroner identified the other victims Moore’s husband, Randy E. Moore, 55; Anna Moore’s son, Jason A. Lockamy, 31, of Hamlet, North Carolina; and his girlfriend, Lora K. Young, 31, of Fairmont, North Carolina and said autopsies were planned for Monday but did not give any other details.

At least one victim was found dead in the backyard, sheriff’s spokesman Trent Faris said.

In her county job, Anna Moore supervised animal control, the department of fire safety, emergency management, the jail, public safety communications and the summer feeding program.

Rock Hill is about 25 miles southwest of Charlotte and has a population of about 65,000.
