US reiterates support to Pakistan in fight against terrorism

WASHINGTON: The United States has reiterated its support to Pakistan in its efforts to end the scourge of terrorism and promote peace and stability in the region.


In his daily press briefing in Washington, the US State Department spokesperson John Kirby said terrorism is a common threat to everybody and it requires common and comprehensive collaborative solutions.

Strongly condemning the terrorist attack on police training center in Quetta, he said we will continue to work with Pakistan to combat the threat of terrorism.

To a question, he said the United States supports the democratically elected government in Pakistan.
