Dar calls for consolidating economic gains of last 3 years

KARACHI: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says all national institutions need to continue the reform process in order to consolidate the economic gains of the last three years.


He said this while chairing a meeting at the State Bank of Pakistan in Karachi on Saturday.

The meeting reviewed the macroeconomic situation with special reference to the monetary side, in the context of upcoming 12th IMF Review, scheduled to commence in Dubai in the last week of this month.

It was noted that the performance of monetary side during the quarter that ended in June this year remained satisfactory and the forex reserves reached the highest level of 23 billion dollars.
