LAHORE: The government has rejected the summary of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) for the increase of gas prices.
Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Wednesday that gas prices will remain unchanged.
He said OGRA has been informed about this decision accordingly.
He told that the gas provision will be 40% less than the demand however; better gas load mangement will be made for the public
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had made it clear that no increase will be made in gas prices for the domestic consumers.
The minister said that after inaugurating the advanced petrol altran at a pump running under government supervision.
He said that government possess adequate stock of petroleum products for any prevailng condition.
