ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said Nandipur Power Project would soon be made operational after converting its oil treatment plant to liquefied natural gas.
While giving interview to an state-run television, The minister said government has not taken over the Nandipur Power Project on technical ground. He said the government has no objection on any audit.
To a question, Asif replied that daily load-shedding has been decreased from twelve to six hours.
To another question regarding Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to the US, he said that it would be a milestone in strengthening relations between the two countries.
