NEPRA rejects K-E plea seeking Rs 14/unit increase in tariff

KARACHI: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Thursday has rejected K-Electric’s summary seeking Rs 14/unit increase in power prices to provide relief to the Karachiites.

He said that a total of Rs 8/unit reduction has been observed in electricity rate due to which K-Electric has been directed to compensate the money.

Nepra has also said that the decision of raising the prices of electricity would be taken afterwards.
