Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has given approval for restructuring of Pakistan Railway’s Board.
A state media report stated on Sunday, a new panel will contain nine members, directed by a president.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif personally was monitoring the carrying into action of Minister for Railways who had introduced innovative measures in Railways.
The new table will enjoy powers to take significant development and fiscal decisions, including procurement, PSDP proposals and arrangements.
He stated that revival of metro train services would be a significant measure of the government because it would reduce traffic load from our roads as metro trains run within major urban centers and inner cities had cast positive impacts on the surroundings and were drawing cards for tourists from developed nations.
