CM takes serious notice of killing of five people in firing

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah taking serious notice of firing incident in Nazimabad – 4 which claimed five innocent lives has directed IG Police to take strict action and report him.


The chief minister was at Bilawal House in a meeting when this incident took place. He telephoned the IG police and asked him to conduct an emergent inquiry into the incident. “I must be informed whether the majlis organisers had informed the police or not, if the answer is in affirmative whether the police were deployed there or not,” he said.

Condemning the incident, Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed his displeasure that some pillion riders (terrorists) were opening fire without any fear and runaway after killing innocent citizens. ” How this happens and what the police was doing, ” he questioned.

The chief minister directed IG police to start crack down against the killers who are trying to ignite sectarian unrest in the city. “I am sure our people are very well aware from the conspiracy under which terrorist want to create sectarian violence in the city where peace has returned with the collective efforts of the government and the people,” he said and urged the people to remain peaceful and support the government in war against terror.

Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the IG police to increase police patrolling in the city and the police alert in their respective jurisdiction.
