Ishaq Dar to present before Panama JIT today

ISLAMABAD: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Panama Papers case on Monday summoned Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar at 3pm today. This is the first time the Finance Minister is appearing before JIT.


According to the sources, the security has been beefed up for three days around Federal Judicial Academy —headquarter of the JIT sanctioned by Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The minister has been directed to produce all relevant documents before the six-member team tomorrow.

The joint investigation team probing offshore wealth of Sharif family in Panama Papers case has also summoned PM Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on 5th July.
