Web Desk: A transgender was shot in Mansehra on Friday while performing at a wedding anniversary over a petty non-issue, an innocent killed for no rhyme or reason, again.
The transgender was asked to provide a change for a Pakistani 100 rupee bill so that the money may be showered upon the performance as a token of appreciation.
When the transgender told that she did not have the change, she was shot at in what seemed like a drug and alcohol infused rage by the hosts of the wedding.
Transgender community in Pakistan has suffered for a long time in South East Asia, permanent solutions with a serious and concentrated effort are needed to make them feel a part of society in equal measure like the man or a woman.
