Returning to fulfill the promise of ‘give respect to vote’, says Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that he is returning to Pakistan on Friday in order to fulfill the promise of ‘sanctity of vote’, Newsone reported.


“Returning to Pakistan leaving my ailment wife Kulsoom in Allah’s protection, he said while addressing a press conference in London along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz.

Sharif claimed that the accountability judge had said that no evidence of corrupt practices was found against him.

“Accountability court in its verdict has cleared me from corrupt practices as no evidence of corruption allegations was found against me,” he added.

“Is there any Pakistani whose three generations had to face such sort of accountability?”

The three-times prime minister said that he made country the nuclear power despite of it he was punished.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz planned their return back to Pakistan on July 13th after they were sentenced imprisonment by NAB court in Avenfield reference.

While NAB has decided to arrest both the accursed from the Airport premises as their plane lands and transfer both of them to Jail through helicopter.

In this regard former Chief Minister Punjab and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz  Sharif directed his party worker to reach Lahore on 13th July to welcome their supreme leader Nawaz Sharif on his return to Pakistan.

“Nawaz  and Maryam will be given a warm welcome on their return to the country” said Shehbaz while addressing public gathering in Lahore today.

He further praised Nawaz Sharif and said that he dwells in people’s heart and can never be extruded.

It has also learnt that Shehbaz Sharif will lead a rally from Muslim Masjid in Lohari Gate after Friday prayers, where he would be joined by Hamza Shehbaz and other senior leaders of the party.

A private bulletproof container has also been acquired by the party to transport senior PML-N officials through their way to Lahore airport to welcome the ex-premier.

The container would be air-conditioned, having wi-fi, jammers, comfortable sofas and bed.
