Actress Nargis slams Fayaz-ul-Hasan over over misogynistic remarks

Web Desk: Stage actress Nargis on Thursday has threatened Punjab Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan with legal action over latter’s obscene remarks.

“I left industry of showbiz long ago and now living a happy life,” she asserted on the remarks of Punjab Information minister Fayazul Hasan Chohan.

Nargis urged provincial minister to review his selection of words.

“Nobody should use such derogatory remarks about a woman living peaceful life in her house,” she added.

The firebrand Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Punjab Culture & Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan was filmed passing highly controversial remarks at a mixed gathering in Lahore.

At a mixed gathering in Lahore, Chohan was heard saying that he would have transformed Nargis to ‘Haji Nargis’.

The provincial minister also insinuated that actor Megha would have fasted for 300, instead of 30 days in a year, under his supervision.

The minister also bans ‘vulgar’ film posters outside and within cinema halls across the province.

On Wednesday, Punjab Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan lost his temper during an interview on a private news channel and hurled abuses at the anchor and channel staff after they played his old video clips.

In a video which is trending on social media, the Punjab information minister is seen abusing host and TV staff and walking off from the interview.
