Aditi Rao Hydari works on her Bihari accent for next film

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari will play the role of a Bihari girl in her next film, The Legend of Michael Mishra, and is not leaving any stone unturned to make sure her portrayal is realistic.

“Aditi likes to get under the skin of the character she is playing, to bring authenticity and honesty. For the character of a modern Bihari girl, Aditi took lessons and underwent workshops to get the accent right. Although she is not speaking rural Bihari in the film, getting the accent and the way certain words are spoken was very important for her character,” says the actor’s spokesperson.

The actor, who was last seen in Wazir alongside Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan, seems to be quite a perfectionist.

In fact, she also watched a few Bihari movies to understand the language better, adds the spokesperson.

A source, close to the actor adds, “Aditi interacted with the locals of the area to get the body language and accent right. It helped her in a big way.” The film which also has actors Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead roles, is based in Patna.
