Gal Gadot the famous star from DC’s Wonder Woman refuses to sign the next contract for Wonder Women’s sequel in December 2019, she claims that there is no reason for her to stay on the same set that endorses women empowerment with a producer who was charged with sexual harassment.
The producer Brett Ratner, found to be alleged for masturbating next to an unnamed model in his car. This is not the first time for Ratner to be faced with accusations of sexual misconduct along with the other names powerful Hollywood superstars for being charged with sexual harassment allegations, Ratner made his name into the list 6 allegations, one being a case for forceful oral sex.
Ratner’s production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment was a co financier of the first Wonder Woman and has been a financing partner on the DC Extended Universe films since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. Sources claim that Ratner’s company provided a strong support to Wonder Woman and helped gained profit in tremendous amounts; the decision to cut off ties with Ratner is not as simple as it may seem.
Gadot strongly believes that the movie should have no connection with a film producer that is currently under accusations for sexual misconduct against women. She strongly suggests that the financing of this movie should be in better hands; otherwise DC should dedicate their time searching for a new Wonder Woman.
