PAKISTAN Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) organised a mega exhibition of photography at the Alhamra Arts Council’s permanent Art gallery on Tuesday.
It is a scene of exquisite tourist sites in Pakistan, particularly the northern countries, and provides an impressive visual history of the picturesque tourist attractions in the state
The exhibition, a unique opportunity for the lens men, amateur photography buffs, frequentravelersrs, domestic tourists and the general public, proved to be a keen beginning of joy and information for the viewers from all walkways of life.
According to Ch Kabir Ahmed Khan, the PTDC managing director, it was a capital first step to promote natural beauty and cultivation of the country through photography.
The three-day exhibition held a collection of roughly 100 photographs on landscape, mountains, valleys, lakes, glaciers, people & culture, heritage and monuments.
This collection includes the photographs of Mukhtar Ali, Gulraiz Ghouri and members of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photojournalists Association (RIPJA).
