LONDON: Actress Lindsay Lohan stated in a current interview that if she had her way, she wouldn’t have opted to turn a “celebrity”.

People have certain discernments of me. For ages, people looked at me as kind of a celebrity, which is something I had never wished for. That’s not what I grew into this industry. The ‘Mean Girls’ actress also told about her icon in Hollywood and her wish to occur back to acting.

Recently, Lohan is in England’s capital city for her upcoming West End debut in David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow.” While there, she’s enjoying the escape from celebrity as she attempts to regain credibility as an actress.

“I’ve been practicing this since I was three years old and I’ve been on the site since I was six. People kind of forgot that, and I think now is a good time,” Lohan stated.
