The sole beneficiaries of the bungalow are his Rajesh’s daughters, Twinkle and Rinke.

As per report, the deal is expected to be concluded once the mandatory 14 day notice about any ownership claim by a third party is over. Shetty refused comment on this matter and his solicitor firm, Maneksha & Sethna, declined to name the buyer.

Shetty had been hunting for a bungalow in the city with a budget of about Rs 100 crore from few years. He had booked an apartment in Palais Royale Royale skyscraper at Worli for about Rs 40 crore, but the same has been involved in a legal battle since 2012 and the BMC has stopped work on the same.

“When Palais Royale got into legal trouble, Shetty started hunting for a bungalow,” the sources said.
