However, the minister who was accompanied by the advisor to Prime Minister on Accountability, Shehzad Akbar stated that the conviction of Nawaz Sharif stands effective so far.

“Just prove the money trail of the London flats as there is no rocket science,” said the minister referring to Avenfield case reference where Nawaz was convicted over not providing the money trial which could refute the allegations of money laundering and the misuse of public office in purchasing London flats.

Earlier the vice-president of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Maryam Nawaz demanded the acquittal of incarcerated ex-PM Nawaz over the point that IHC has asked the law ministry the removal of accused judge— eventually making the subject (Nawaz) innocent.

Last week, during the press conference flanked by the opposition leader in National Assembly– Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam revealed a video purportedly showing Judge Arshad Malik revealing that he was pressurized after his personal video was shown to him to convict Nawaz in Al-Azizia reference before the PML(N) activist, Nasir Butt.

However, the judge dismissed Maryam’s allegations saying that he was approached by PML(N) leaders intimidating him over the possible repercussions if Nawaz is not acquitted in the Avenfield reference filed on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan in Panama Case verdict.
