Water Case: Chief Justice Saqib Nisar asks CM Sindh to take him anywhere, drink one bottle each of polluted water

KARACHI: In a case that is more concerned to the precious human life, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar has expresses dissatisfaction on the drinking water that Karachites are drinking.


Chief Justice Saqib Nisar passed a very interesting remark, asking Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah to drink same water, from same water tap, wherever the CM takes him along.

“Take me to any area, you want, we will drink one bottle of water each”, CJP remarked while addressing the CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah

On Wednesday,  Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah arrived at Karachi’s Supreme Court registry, as he was summoned by the apex Court on Monday pertaining to the water issue cases that Karachi is suffering from.

Pak Sar Zameen Leader, and former Mayor of Karachi Mustafa Kamal was also summoned by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

However, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar observed, that this case is not against the government or any one else.

CJP also remarked that water is the blessing of God on earth, adding that it is a prime responsibility of Sindh Governmemt to ensure clean water supply
