PTI to lead celebratory rally today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is going to lead a celebratory rally at the Parade Ground on Wednesday (today).

The rally is being held after PTI postponed its November 2 planned ‘lockdown’ of Islamabad. PTI chairman Imran Khan has claimed that one million people will attend the rally.

Imran Khan had called for the rally following the Supreme Court’s decision to form a commission to probe Panama Leaks. “I am glad the Supreme Court has directed the prime minister to present himself for accountability,” Khan told supporters in Bani Gala on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkwa along with his convoy is also expected to attend the rally. PTI convoys from other parts of the country have started arriving at the venue of the rally.

PTI leadership has officially informed Islamabad administration that the rally will conclude at 10 PM.
