Four terrorists of banned outfit killed in Rangers raid


KARACHI: Four terrorists were shot dead during an armed encounter with the personnel of paramilitary force in Karachi area of Kathor.


According to Rangers spokesperson, all four killed terrorist hailed from a proscribed organization and were holed up in Kathor.

The raid was conducted in an overnight operation near Toll Plaza in Kathor. When the Rangers reached the area in the proximity on Super Highway, saboteurs ambushed them, as a result paramilitary force responded and killed all four terrorists.

Terrorists were involved in numerous sabotage activities including extortion mafia crimes and targeted killings in the metropolis.

Terrorists later identified as Muhammed Asif, Muhammed Amir Khan, Abdul Waseem and Younis Ahmed alias Kalia.

The bodies were transported to Jinnah Hospital.
