Airing Indian channels banned in AJK


MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister has imposed ban on airing Indian entertainment channels and re-telecasting of Indian programmes by local channels.


The decision was taken by AJK cabinet in its meeting, which was presided over by AJK Prime Minister Chaudhary Abdul.

Addressing the meeting, AJK prime minister said that Indian channels will not be allowed to be aired in AJK to invade our culture.

Chaudhary Abdul Majeed reiterated that India’s war hysteria has threatened peace in the region. He urged the world community to force India to accept the right to self-determination of the people of Kashmir.
