Attempts are being made to roll up MQM’s politics: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: Senior Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Farooq Sattar said on Friday that despite their continuous protest, Rangers have arrested Landhi Sector In-charge and two more workers previous night.

Talking to media in Karachi, he said the workers were in busy Independence Day preparations when paramilitary forces conducted raid and arrested them without any reason.

Regretting that the victimisation of MQM has not ended Sattar said, “Party workers are not even allowed to celebrate Independence Day.”

Sattar termed this arrest extra-judicial and called it a conspiracy against MQM.

Farooq Sattar said attempts are being made to roll up MQM’s political structure in Karachi.

Sattar added over 170 workers of MQM are still missing and forces have not given any clue about them.
