PESHAWAR: At least four people were killed and three others were wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district, police alleged.
Blast hit a passenger bus in the Droreyo Banda area of Kahi in Hangu district, a Police officials stated.
Station House Officer (SHO) of Kahi police station Fareed Khan confirmed that four people had become flat and three had been bruised in the fire, which was made by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The vehicle was plying from Zargari to Hangu district when the bomb detonated.
Fareed Khan said the bomb disposal squad (BDU) was gathering evidence to determine the nature of the detonation. Bomb disposal squad official Akhtar Khan told Dawn that the home-made bomb weighed about 10 kgs and was put in a vegetable oil tin.
