Daniyal accuses Imran of taking funds from US to damage democracy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz on Friday said that the government is considering referring Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s money-laundering case to the United States of America (USA).

As the war between PML-N and PTI continues, Daniyal Aziz held a press conference today in Islamabad and alleged Imran Khan of damaging democracy in the country.

Aziz added that Imran Khan was funded by 247 foreign companies and said that receiving this amount was tantamount to money-laundering and thus action should be taken.

Daniyal Aziz said that Imran Khan has been receiving money from USA to damage democracy in Pakistan which is a very serious offence and the facts must be put before the nation in this regard.

Aziz also said that a notice of Rs. 1.05 billion has been served to Chairman PTI Imran Khan over false allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Aziz added Imran Khan has also been served a notice of Rs 1.05 billion over allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

“If PTI has any evidence against us then it should send us notices and go to NAB”, Aziz challenged.
