GUJRANWALA: The Gujranwala incident case has been registered in People Colony Police Station today.

A woman and two children were burnt to death late night on Monday, when unknown miscreants set five houses on fire during clash between two groups here late Sunday night.At least nine people including seven children and two women are injured. CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken serious notice of the incident and sought report from local management.
According to details,a woman and two minors were killed while scores more suffered injuries after an unruly mob set a number of houses ablaze following a ‘lynch attack’ on a neighborhood near Haidery Road. The miscreants also looted several shops.
A woman and two children, trapped in a house, sustained serious burnt injuries and later died in a hospital. Nine others also received burnt wounds.
Reportedly, a hopping mad lynch mob stormed a house in search of a minority man accused of sharing a blasphemous picture on the social media website. They took to violence, vandalism, and arson after they were allegedly fired upon from inside the besieged house, sources quoted an eyewitness as saying.

The dead and the injured were moved to District Headquarter Hospital  for post-Morten and medical treatment respectively.

CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken serious notice of the incident and sought report from local management.
