Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the the Nandipur Power Project in Gujranwala.
The first turbine of the power plant generating 100 megawatts in its testing stage.
The project that will be completed in December this year will total 425 megawatts of power to the national electric power system.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the work on the first turbine of the flora has been completed before the required time.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif is addressing the inauguration ceremony, criticized the previous regime, stating that for 3 years the machinery for the Nandipur Power Project was lying at the Karachi Port.
Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and other VIPs were also present during the first ceremony of the power project.
