I am fighting for the future of Pakistan: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said the decision of judicial commission probing alleged rigging in general election 2013 would set the foundation of a new Pakistan.

Talking to the media after meeting NADRA chief, Khan said the electoral reforms to be undertaken after the commission’s findings, would help make a better Pakistan.

Khan added election tribunal’s decision on NA-125 has proved that the demand for a judicial commission was right.

Khan also called for demanding action against returning and presiding officers involved in vote fraud. “I was told by the NADRA chief that forensic report had completed,” Khan said. “In two weeks, it will be clear whether or not the second wicket will be fallen,” Khan further said, referring to his party’s petition against the victory of Ayaz Sadiq in NA-122.

The PTI chief said that more revelations were being made in the judicial commission.

“I have no personal grudge against Nawaz Sharif, Ayaz Sadiq or Khawaja Saad Rafique, I am fighting this battle for the future of Pakistan and democracy,” Khan added.
