LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that NA-125 case verdict is against requirements of the justice.
Talking to media after announcement of the NA-125 case decision here at the provincial election commission on Monday, he said that a few days ago in cantonment board elections, NA-125 voters got elected the PML-N candidates and proved that they voted for PML-N on May 11, 2013.
“But, despite this fact, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) defamed me and my party for a period approximate two years”, he said.
Saad added that the tribunal had admitted that Hamid Khan failed to prove rigging in the constituency.
Saad said that his party would decide whether to approach the Apex court or contest re-elections but he was ready for both options as he was a fighter.
Saad asked the PTI to nominate strong candidate against him. “My vote bank is intact and it has been proved six days ago,” he said.
