Imran summons PTI meeting to decide strategy after NA-122 verdict

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan summoned a meeting of the party’s central advisory council on Sunday to deliberate on the PTI’s future course of action after an election tribunal de-seated National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and ordered re-polling in his NA-122 constituency.

PTI spokesman Naeemul Haq said that the meeting, chaired by Khan and attended by the party’s central and top leadership in all provinces, will review the prevailing political situation in the country and decide on its future strategy.

According to Haq, the meeting was expected to be held at 3:00 PM at a private hotel in Islamabad today.
