Indian HC refuses receiving email or letter from MQM

ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commission Thursday denied receiving any email from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over alleged disappearance of the party workers.

The letter purportedly written by the MQM’s leader Nasreen Jalil to Indian HC surfaced in which she asked the mission to raise its voice to safeguard human rights particularly in Karachi.

Responding to the media reports, the Indian HC said that it has received no such email from the MQM.

However, the Indian HC spokesman said there is a possibility that the letter was dispatched through courier service.

The spokesman further said that he would be able to confirm or deny the reports after receiving the email or letter.
