Head of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here at the Prime Minister Secretariat.
According to informants, the Army Chief and Premier had an interchange of opinions on the ongoing military offensive ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and the relief and rehabilitation effort for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
General Raheel Sharif also briefed the Prime Minister on progress achieved thus far in the full-scale military crackdown on local and foreign terrorists in NWA.
According to ISPR, hundreds of terrorists, including foreigners had been wiped out and scores of their bases destroyed
