ISLAMABAD: Jamat Islami has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the Protection of Pakistan Act.

The prayer says that shoot at sight permission to the law enforcement agencies under the law clashes with the right of life under the constitution.

Whatever further clauses of the law also opposed to the establishment, the petition said and pleaded to the apex court to declare the Protection of Pakistan Act as null and void.
