KARACHI: Bomb defused in Karachi at oil tanker terminal

An attempt of terrorism in Karachi was foiled today, when a bomb embedded in the city’s main oil tanker terminal was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).

Constabulary said a magnetic bomb, weighting around 800 grams, was tied to an oil tanker parked in the terminal at Keamari, a coastal locality of Karachi near the city’s busy port.

The bomb disposal squad (BDS) secured the area and defused the bomb with a blast detaching the explosive material from the oil tanker.
