KARACHI: In Karachi, the lawyers boycotted the court proceedings to protest opposed the murder of Murabarak Kazmi Advocate. Advancing Mubarak Kazmi, who was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Karachi on Wednesday, was positioned to rest in a local graveyard. He was the son-in-law of well-known religious scholar Allama Talib Johri.
On Wednesday, the funeral prayers of the deceased held in a mosque in an Ancholi area of Karachi night attended by Allama Talib Jury and other religious and political leadership.
Advocate Mubarak Kazmi was gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Gulshan-e-Iqbal block 13-D yesterday, when he was going by the area in his car. The Aziz Bhatti police station has registered the murder case opposed to unknown culprits under murder, try to murder and the anti – terrorism law.
The lawyers on the call of Sindh High Court Bar and Karachi Bar Association boycotted the court proceedings in Karachi to protest against the murder of Advocate Mubarak Kazmi.
