Two security personnel were martyred and another wounded in gun attack in Mirali of North Waziristan, where the Pakistan Army has launched an all-out ground operation as part of its anti-Taliban Zarb-e-Azb operation.
According to officials, the onslaught took place in Mirali tassel where a vehicle carrying security personnel from Khajuri to Miranshah came under militants attack near the bypass.
Two soldiers were martyred while another was critically injured, officials stated, adding that the assailants managed to flee.
Airstrikes have killed over 300 militants in North Waziristan since the military offensive begun on 15 June.
House-to-House search of Miranshah town was run out by infantry troops and a special service group yesterday.
The troops have recovered underground tunnels and IEDs preparation factories in the thus far cleared area.
