MQM resigned from assemblies to save target killers: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that cases of his party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) are different in nature.

Imran Khan, in his tweet, said that PTI resigned from the National and provincial assemblies to investigate the rigging in the general assembly while Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is doing it to save target killers.

MQM tendered resignations of its members of National Assembly in a joint meeting of MQM Rabita Committee London and Karachi.

It was also later reported this morning that the party had decided to resign from the Sindh Assembly as well, where it has 54 seats.
