No talks with India on one-point agenda: Maleeha Lodhi

NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi on Thursday has said that there will be no talks with India on one-point agenda, NewsONE reported.

In an exclusive interview with well known journalist, Hafiz Tariq Mehmood in NewsONE special, Maleeha Lodhi said that Indian response to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech was non-serious.

Lodhi added that Pakistan had presented dossiers, evidence and proofs of Indian interference to the United Nations and they had become part of the record of the Security Council.

Lodhi said that it seemed that India was not interested in dialogues. “India is hampering implementation of the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir,” she said.

“International community observed that which country wants peace whereas which country refuses the dialogue proposal on disputed issues”, she explained.

Maleeha Lodhi said that Pakistan would continue to raise solution-seeking issues with India at the international and bilateral level.
