Pakistan appoints new envoys in different countries


ISLAMABAD: Government on Tuesday has appointed new ambassadors in different countries while Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah will perform duties as ambassador in Russia.


Johar Saleem has been appointed as ambassador to Germany, Moeenul Haq to France, Mazhar Javed to Nepal, Afrasiab to New Zealand, Babar Hashmi to Bulgaria and Zahid Ali to Sudan.

Moreover, Chaudhry Nadir has been given the office in Marrakech.

The newly appointed ambassadors held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The PM directed the ambassadors to bridge possible gaps between Pakistan and other countries.
